Step 3/5: Install & Configure Anti-Virus Software

Anti-Virus software that isn't up to date, will not protect your computer from new computer viruses and worms.

Therefore, it is just as important to maintain an up-to-date anti-virus software as it is to have one installed on your computer in the first place. You can configure Norton Anti-Virus CE to perform updates via LiveUpdate or scans on your hard drive or specific files.
